I was selected for the ISKSAA travelling fellowship in 2025, which took place from 30th june to 13th july 2025.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr. Lalit Maini, and the entire ISKSAA team for providing me with this incredible opportunity.

The fellowship was a comprehensive 2-week program at chappel allerton hospital, Leeds under Mr. Sanjeeev anand. I was accompanied by my collegue dr abhinav singla from chandigarh.

Our journey began with a thorough orientation by Mr. Sanjeev anand,who introduced us to the hospital staff and familiarized us with the department. Throughout our stay, Mr. Anand ensured that we gained extensive exposure to knee arthroplasty and arthroscopy cases, sharing his invaluable expertise and providing insightful discussions on preoperative and postoperative care.

Dr sanjeev anand helped us in every way to make us comfortable through out 2 weeks. He also arranged to visit us at various private hospital with which he was working. We were very fortunate to witness highest level of skillful knee work by one of the greatest knee surgeon, mr sanjeev anand. He was very humble to answer each and every question of us in OT and OPD. Indeed, Mr. Sanjeev anand is a true gem of a person.

We also had the privilege of interacting with and learning from other consultants, also. The consultants generously shared their time and expertise, guiding us through complex surgeries and offering valuable feedback.

During our 2-week tenure, we were exposed to wide range of procedures, including primary TKR, THR, Revision THR, Knee Arthroscopy, patello femorla work and various trauma cases. The morning trauma meetings provided invaluable insights into the significance of multidisciplinary patient care. This experience has been a game-changer for my professional growth, and I am deeply indebted to ISKSAA for selecting me.

Apart from fellowship, conference was also very well organized and helpful with fruitful discussions.
