Respected Sir,

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj and Dr. Lalit Maini for selecting me for the prestigious ISKSAA UK Lancashire Travelling Fellowship. I am immensely thankful for the opportunity to undertake this fellowship at the Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital, under the mentorship of the esteemed Professor Dr. Makaram Srinivasan.

The fellowship experience was truly enriching. The NHS system offered a unique and structured model of healthcare delivery, with excellent infrastructure, high patient volumes, and exposure to some of the finest surgical practices. We had the privilege of observing and scrubbing in a variety of arthroplasty and arthroscopic cases, including an invaluable opportunity to learn shoulder arthroplasty techniques. The eminent faculty at both centres demonstrated exceptional teaching skills, clinical acumen, and surgical precision, which left a lasting impression and will greatly influence my future practice.

In addition to operative exposure, I gained substantial insights from the outpatient clinics. Observing the referral and back-referral system within the NHS helped me appreciate the efficiency and continuity of patient care. The emphasis on multidisciplinary teamwork and well-structured follow-up further strengthened my perspective on delivering holistic care to patients.

Beyond the hospital setting, I was fortunate to explore the vibrant cities of Manchester and Blackburn. Experiencing their culture, history, and cuisine made the fellowship not only academically fulfilling but also personally rewarding. The warm hospitality extended by the faculty and staff further enriched the overall experience.

This fellowship has undoubtedly broadened my clinical horizons and strengthened my commitment to academic excellence. Once again, I extend my deepest thanks to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr. Lalit Maini, Professor Dr. Makaram Srinivasan, and the entire ISKSAA team for providing me with such a wonderful and memorable opportunity.
