ISKSAA ISRAEL TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP 2021
At the outset, I would like to thank Dr. LalitMaini and Dr. Pushphinder Bajaj and entire team of ISKSAA
for providing me this opportunity to visit the Shoulder Unit, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical center, Israel.
This travelling fellowship got delayed by an year due to COVID 19 Pandemic. In my short stay of two
weeks in Tel Aviv Israel, I was able to observe and got to know the better techniques and skills in many
shoulder arthroscopy as well as arthroplasty procedures. I was lucky enough to observe the
Inspaceballonplasty procedure for irreparable rotator cuff tears. I also attended the outpatient
clinics, pre op discussion and journal clubs with Dr. Eran Mamman and team, It was a well-arranged
fellowship program.
Tel Aviv is a beautiful place with beach and I happened to visit Jerusalem ,Bethlehem city Dead Sea
during weekend. All in all, it was a wonderful experience
