What our Faculty had to say……………..

Dear Sanjeev and Pushpinder
I would like to say a big thank you to both of you. I would also like to greatly compliment you on your organisational skills. This must have been a mammoth task and both of you did wonderfully well. Please also thank the rest of the organising team who have also worked very hard.

Not only did you organise a great meeting, you have provided Indian orthopaedics a platform from where Indian Orthopaedic surgeons can share their work with the rest of the world. Some of the clinical challenges that are found in India and the innovations that Indian surgeons are coming up with are admirable.

The fellowship program is yet another example of your commitment to broadening the scope of Orthopaedics in India. This will be invaluable for visiting surgeons. I am really honored to be a very small part of history in the making.

Talking to some of the young surgeons from India it became very evident how valuable this trip has been for them. It was so refreshing to see their eagerness and the enthusiasm for learning orthopaedics. They also saw the 'British gentlemanly' nature of discussion and interaction with colleagues, something they will cherish.

The meeting showed them that the 'other's experience' should be used for 'Learning' rather than 'criticizing' and the mistakes made by others should be for gaining wisdom and is not to be rebuked. I hope the Indian delegates take home this valuable lesson.

The live surgery, which I know must have been the most difficult to organise, deserves additional compliments . One can see operations on u tube but to watch an operation with other surgeons contributing to discussions is a whole different experience

Sanjeev: I got to see you closely and your quiet and polite nature in doing things has really impressed me.

Pushpinder: I didn't get a chance to meet you properly. Just didn't want to disturb you as I could see how busy you were. Have heard a lot of good things about you.

Keep it up guys. Well done again. Do not hesitate to call if there is anything I can do to help your cause.

Dear ISKSAA organisers and chairmen,
It has been a great honor and pleasure to take part.
Congratulations to all of you for this very successful meeting and thank you once more for visiting our city and inviting me to your event. Unfortunately I failed to attend the dinner as some minor family accident kept me to the AE.. (all fine now).
