What our Faculty had to say……………..
On behalf of the BESS Copeland Fellows, I write to thank ISKSAA and in particular yourself for the recent ISKSAA BESS UK Elbow and Shoulder conclave.
We are hugely appreciative of the efforts made by ISKSAA Council to initiate this meeting and for the very professional way in which the meeting was run. It was a perfect mix of lectures, discussions and live surgery which produced interesting debate and clearly energised the delegates.
It is my hope that this is the start of a long term relationship between ISKSAA and BESS. In that light I should like to propose that we make the current position of 2 ISKSAA travelling fellowships to be hosted by BESS Members - the fellowships will be for approx 2 weeks around the time of our annual conference and will include free registration for the fellows at the instructional course and conference.
In view of the current NHS junior staff recruitment issues, it is my belief that in time ,more substantive fellowships may become an option.
Could I take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of myself and BOSTAA for your invitation to support this fantastic meeting.
You and your colleagues were most welcoming and I can’t thank you enough.
I thought the meeting went very well and I hope your delegates got what they wanted from it.
I wish the food at all the meetings we go to will be as good as here!
Once again many thanks
Dear Pushpinder sir

Again, thanks for the wonderful opportunity to put SESI in focus and your great hospitality.I would love to participate in future meetings with more involvement by SESI.
Dear Pushpinder and Raju
Thank you for your kind invitation to come and speak at your conference. I hope I was able to help you achieve the goals you had set for your meeting. I’m sorry I missed you at the end of the conference.
From my perspective, this was a very innovative meeting for India, and it is very well planned, it’s very much needed, and the delegates I spoke to her little loud and we are very grateful that someone is focusing on shoulder and elbow.
The venue was great, the food was great, the hospitality was great, and overall I think you both did an extremely fantastic job with this meeting. Please let me know in the future if you would like me to help in any future conferences, since I feel it’s my duty to help to educate our colleagues in India,
Thank you once again,
what a great trip for us and thank you and your team in Delhi for your warm hospitality. The ISKSAA meeting was excellent, well organised and varied and we all learned a lot.
In the airport now waiting for flight to Dubai and reflecting on the best experience of my life on the Copeland travelling Fellowship , yes I mean it. India is a progressive country and is a superpower in every respect(except road safety ! ). It is in everyones interest to stay close to each other and share experience. We have so much to learn. The older I get the less I know !! I leave with memories of the spirituality, color and warmth of Indian people and the closeness of family and friends. I hope we can meet again soon and that ISKSAA and BESS work on some projects together. As I approach retirement I hope to have more time to payback and contribute to education and research in Shoulder and elbow surgery.
