I was selected for the ISKSAA travelling fellowship in 2025, which took place from June 30th to July 11th, 2025. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pushpinder Bajaj, Dr. Lalit Maini, and the entire ISKSAA team for providing me with this incredible opportunity.

The fellowship was a comprehensive 2-week program at NHS Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals , expertly coordinated by Professor Raj Murali. NHS Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals is a renowned tertiary care center, offering specialized trauma and elective services.

My journey began with a thorough orientation by Professor Raj Murali, who introduced us to the hospital staff and familiarised us with the department. Throughout my stay, Professor Murali ensured that I gained extensive exposure to both upper limb and lower limb cases, sharing his invaluable expertise and providing insightful discussions on preoperative and postoperative care.

We also had the privilege of interacting with and learning from esteemed consultants, including Mr. George Pavlov , Mr. Henry, Mr. Monga . The consultants generously shared their time and expertise, guiding me through complex surgeries and offering valuable feedback. The administrative staff Ms Tracy and Ms Rachel were extremely helpful during my tenure.

During my 2-week tenure, I was exposed to a wide range of procedures, including primary TKR, THR, Revision THR, Knee Arthroscopy, mako surgery and various trauma cases

This experience has been a game-changer for my professional growth, and I am deeply indebted to ISKSAA for selecting me.
